Power Amps Finished

Well, mostly.  I haven’t yet added decoupling or linked all the common wires together or connected the output transistors.  But that’s because I do not yet know where things will go so those jobs will come during the ‘Unify’ stage.

Finished Power Amp.

Finished Power Amp.

I have added some hot-melt glue to give the structure more solidity.

Capacitors are polypropylene film, resistors are the lowest noise I can find without going to very expensive ones and the potentiometers are high quality, multi-turn.  The wires are silver plated, high quality copper,  the solder is 95.5% tin, 3.8% silver and 0.7% copper.

Most of the components I use have been sourced from RS Components who I have been using for decades and always proved to be of the highest quality service – I can’t fault them.
